What do you have on Thursdays?简案

1. Teaching aims

1) Knowledge aim

Students will be able to master the new words and sentences.

2) Ability aim

After class, most students can use the sentences “What do you have on ...? I have ...” masterly.

3) Emotional aim

Students can know how to express their school life to their friends or family.

2. Important and difficult points

1) Important point

Students can use the sentences “What do you have on ...? I have ..”

2) Difficult point

Students can use the new words and sentences to talk about their school life.

3. Teaching and learning methods

Teaching methods: task-based method, question and answer method, gaming teaching method.

Learning methods: cooperation study method and independent study method.

4. Teaching procedures

Step 1: Lead in

Teacher shows a curriculum schedule in order to review the knowledge they have learned before.

Step 2: Presentation

Teacher will show students pictures about John and grandfather. Let students listen to the tape for the first time and find main sentence pattern: “ What do you have on...” “ I have...”.

Step 3: Practice

Teacher will show another subject schedule and then choose several students complete the task ask and answer

Step 4: Production

1) Group work: Teacher asks students to make conversations by the main sentences pattern in their group.

2) Repetition: The teacher will set a task for them —Repetition. They can repeat it word by word or just key sentences.

Step 5: Summary and homework

Teacher leads students to summarize what they have learned in this class.

(Knowledge concluding and Emotional concluding)

Homework: 

1) Listen to the tape for 3 times.

2) Tell your parents what you have learned today.
